SafePass is for legitimate, lawful, peer-to-peer deals between Canadian residents. To keep the platform safe and within scope, the following item categories are not allowed in v1.

Not allowed

  • vehicles
    Vehicles are out of scope for v1.
  • real estate
    Real estate is out of scope for v1.
  • weapons
    Weapons and ammunition are not supported.
  • regulated goods
    Regulated goods are not supported.
  • adult goods
    Adult goods are not supported.
  • medication
    Medication is not supported.
  • illegal goods
    Illegal or IP-infringing items are not allowed.
  • pets
    Live animals are not supported.
  • gambling
    Gambling-related items are not supported.
  • financial
    Financial instruments and crypto are not supported.

Requires manual approval

  • services
    Service-only deals require manual review in v1.
  • high value jewelry
    High-value jewelry requires manual approval.
  • event tickets
    Event tickets require manual approval.

Behavior we do not tolerate

  • Using the platform to defraud another user.
  • Misrepresenting identity, location, or item condition.
  • Attempting to circumvent verification, dispute, or release rules.
  • Harassment of other users or our review team.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Decisions are documented and shared with the affected user where appropriate.
